Babysitting Services
At Sandhills Nanny Co., we are a nanny referral agency, meaning we do not directly employ our caregivers. Instead, we rigorously vet and refer qualified nannies based on your family’s specific needs. We ask that you respect our process by contacting the agency exclusively for all bookings and not referring any of our nannies to third parties. If you find a caregiver you’re interested in, please refer them back to us. We provide trusted recommendations for both your family and the nannies we work with.

If we have made the referral, MEMBER OR NOT, working together outside of our agency is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal from our agency for both parties, legal implications, and a $2,160 fee will be charged for the referral. We invest significant time and resources to ensure the best possible match for our families and nannies, and we ask that you respect the effort we put into these relationships. Please do not take advantage of our services.

Communication:
All communication with our caregivers must be conducted through our app (Sandhills Nanny Co.) or online portal only.

Availability:
Your membership grants you access to our pool of vetted caregivers as availability permits. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific sitter for each requested date, nor can we guarantee the same sitter will be available for every booking. If you need more consistent childcare, we recommend our nanny placement services.

Membership Options:

• Flex Care Package: $45/month for up to 2 bookings per month

• Family Support Plan: $85/month for up to 4 bookings per month

• Monthly Care Assurance: $180/month for unlimited bookings

Prepay for Unlimited Package:

• $1,000 for 6 months

• $1,800 for 12 months

Sitter Rates:

Our sitters are paid directly by the client immediately following the scheduled sit or service. Payment can be made via our app or online dashboard—whichever is most convenient for you. Below are the minimum required pay rates; however, we encourage you to consider offering a higher hourly rate or leaving a tip if you're pleased with our exceptional childcare team.

• $17/hour for one child

• + $2 per additional child

• For larger families (5+ children), two sitters will be required.

Additional Information:

• Minimum Booking: All appointments require a minimum of 3 hours. Clients are responsible for paying for the minimum hours, even if the actual service time is less.

  Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 10% of the scheduled booking payable to the agency, plus 50% of the scheduled booking to be paid to the sitter.

• Holiday Service: Service may not be available on certain holidays or surrounding weekends. An additional fee of $6 per hour applies during blackout dates.

• Late Notice Requests: Requests made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $25 backup care fee, split between the agency and the sitter.

• Sick Child Fee: A $25 fee applies to sick child bookings, split between the agency and the sitter.

• Transportation Reimbursement: If special transportation is needed, reimbursement will be based on the IRS per mile rate.

• Overnight Care: Overnight care is billed at our standard hourly rates.

• Non-members: Non-members outside our coverage area can use our services for $25 per booking.

• Inclement Weather: Service is not guaranteed during inclement weather; clients may need to provide transportation if sitters are uncomfortable driving.

• Late Arrival Fee: A $10 late arrival fee applies if the sitter is delayed by more than 15 minutes.

• Multiple Families: When multiple families are booked under one request, a $25 booking fee will be added, payable to the agency.

• Overtime: Sitters’ rates become 1.5x if the sit is extended more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time.

• Relieving Sitters: Because our sitters are booked specifically for your family, they should be compensated for however long their sit was scheduled. Please book sits as close to the time you need. If additional time is needed, please book the longer time and note that the end-time may fluctuate.

• Last-Minute Time Changes: If a client alters the time without the caregiver’s approval, the full original time will still apply for the cancellation fee, especially if they attempt to cancel after the change.

• Pickup and Drop-offs: If you require pickup or drop-off, please leave detailed notes in your booking. Sitters will confirm if they are able to provide this service.

• Inclement Weather: If inclement weather makes travel unsafe, both the nanny and family should notify each other as soon as possible, and a make-up day may be arranged at mutual agreement.

• Hotel & Vacation Childcare Pricing

  • 1 Child: $30.00/hour

  • 2 Children: $33.00/hour

  • 3 Children: $36.00/hour

  • 4+ Children: Requires additional sitter (call for rates)

  Booking Fee: $35.00 per family
  

Payment & Policies:

• 3-Hour Minimum: Please note, we have a 3-hour minimum payment for all bookings. Even if the sitter is only needed for 1 hour, you will still be required to pay for 3 hours.

• Payment Methods: Payments can be made directly through our app or online portal after the service is completed.
